Coronavirus: Omniplex's response

As a truly global organisation, Omniplex has been navigating the difficult waters of the Coronavirus since January. Our colleagues in Beijing have been working remotely throughout this time, with the city having faced some of the most extreme circumstances the Coronavirus has brought. We are delighted to report that all Omniplex employees, their families and friends are safe and well; while the virus has had very little impact on business operations.

The UK and US counterparts of Omniplex look to our colleagues in Beijing as an inspiration for the tough times ahead of us. With all employees now working from home, Omniplex are implementing social-distancing to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. As an organisation who truly embraces innovation and technology, this is our time to put the tech to work.

We have converted all of our face-to-face training courses, including Articulate Storyline and Instructional Design for eLearning, to virtual courses; minimising disruption for our customers at this time when digital learning becomes all the more important for organisations. We believe that in these challenging times the digital learning industry can flourish, supporting other industries and sharing our knowledge on remote working and learning.

As an organisation, we put the health and wellbeing of our employees at the forefront of everything we do. As such, teams have implemented frequent catch ups throughout the day, whilst the entire company comes together in a weekly ‘town-hall’ style meeting. These virtual meetings allow us to maintain the close-knit, family feel that makes Omniplex the company it is.

In addition to these internal measures to ensure the wellbeing of our staff, we understand that the current climate will have significant impact on both our suppliers and customers, particularly with regards to cash flow. As such, we are taking steps to do what we can to mitigate the difficult trading conditions, in which many of our partners find themselves. This includes extended credit terms for those customers in sectors that are most severely impacted by the crisis, and also paying our smaller suppliers as quickly as possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, partners, peers and employees for their understanding as we navigate these difficult waters together. Be assured that we at Omniplex are committed to helping and supporting you however we can.

Kind Regards,

Matthew Lloyd
CEO – Omniplex (Group) Ltd.
