Charlotte Tilbury, UK’s biggest luxury beauty brand partners with Omniplex Learning to deliver a global retail induction programme.
Integral to the ongoing success and growth of the brand, the learning and development team at Charlotte Tilbury needed to replace previously instructor-led courses with digital resources to upskill their retail teams on a global scale.
This was coupled with growing pressure to acquire the right software, skills, and deliver a full schedule of learning in a limited time frame.
Charlotte Tilbury's vision
Committed to creating magic experiences for their customers and employees alike, Charlotte Tilbury wanted to provide learning experiences which captured the essence of their brand ethos whilst consistent learning experience for all.
The Charlotte Tilbury team recognised the importance of having a partner agency to collaborate with them on their L&D journey. They were looking for a provider who could support them with scaling-up their digital capabilities in-house, that would align with their brand identity, and provide them with innovative approaches.
Charlotte Tilbury has a strong brand image and tone of voice that was important to translate into the digital space. They wanted to create a consistent learning experience that empowered their learners while still capturing the magic of their brand.
Charlotte Tilbury wanted a quick way to onboard new starters in the absence of face-to-face training. This had it's challenges including global reach and internal capabilities to develop the content independently; with lack of resource and knowledge of Articulate’s authoring tools.

Our broad product offering allowed us to quickly set Charlotte Tilbury’s L&D team up with the right tools in the form of Articulate 360 subscriptions. This was supported by our in-house training team who helped their L&D team learn the software and take control of their own learning journey.
Omniplex Learning have worked with the team consistently over the past two years on their New Product Development curriculums and a preboarding programme for Retail and Head Office teams, fully immersing the learner into the Charlotte Tilbury world, which put the learner at the heart of their working environment before their first day!
Omniplex Learning custom built mobile courses, so that shop floor employees had access to learning content despite where they were. Now, every new employee receives a personalised, frictionless experience, giving them access to the learning content they need to perform and progress their careers from day one.
With double digit growth in the brand since the programme’s inception, online learning completion rates are now up from 22% to 83% globally. That's not all, creation of Charlotte Tilbury’s preboarding module, has saved the team on average £144K year on year!
